He further taught high school history within the New York City Department of Education. He has a strong background in all aspects of both motion work and trial/litigation in both the state and federal courts representing those unfortunately injured in a wide variety of cases. Scott successfully wrote the brief and argued the appeal in Espinal v New York City Health & Hosps. Corp. (http://www.nycourts.gov/reporter/3dseries/2014/2014_01430.htm) which upheld the striking of the NYCHHC’s answer for their willful failure to provide discovery. This lead to a jury awarding our client $5,483,200.00 at trial. Scott was also the trial attorney in that case.
